In astudyinvolving rats, BPC-157 was administered in doses of 0, 0.1, 0.25, and 0.5 micrograms/mL over 24 hours. Results showed that the 0.5 microgram/mL dose significantly increased growth hormone expression from day 1 to day 3, while lower doses also had similar effects. The study concluded that BPC-157 supplementation led to increased up-regulation of growth hormone in a dose and time-dependent manner
Considering the similarity of the used models with human conditions, NaBPC157 can be used in the therapy of spinal cord injuries
