Late 18th–Early 19th Century Neoclassical “Saturno” Saturn Engraving After Raphael – Tofanelli & Bertigneni Sconces Dimensions: 25ʺW × 25ʺD ×Elegant antique Italian engraving titled Saturno (Saturn), depicting the Roman god of time and harvest seated in a chariot drawn by a winged serpent like creature, floating among clouds. This dramatic and finely detailed composition is based on a design associated with Raphael of Urbino, reinterpreted by Agostino Tofanelli and expertly engraved by Giuseppe Bertigneni.
