Estate 14K, Silver & Ametrine Ring star Materials: Sterling SilverAmetrine, also known as trystine or by its trade name as bolivianite, is a naturally occurring variety of quartz. It is a mixture of amethyst and citrine with zones of purple and yellow or orange. Ametrine was not readily available on the market until the 1970s when it was discovered or re discovered in Bolivia. The legends say a Spanish conquistador discovered the ametrine mine in the 1600s when he received the land after marrying a native princess
